The debate on GMOs rages, but in the end chain, the consumer is very difficult to navigate.
The words "GMO" is an obligation imposed by Articles L. 214-1 and L. 214-3 of the Consumer Code. The consumer can then find a mention "genetically modified product from ... ... GM from GMOs ...".
For products not containing GMOs, there is no visual standard AB as the logo for organic farming. That is why the agency is now proposing IDDELTA design a logo GM-free designed to be placed next to the imprint that are on the packaging.
This logo is proposed by the agency as free and can be used without restriction by producers, processors and distributors of the food industry.
The company IDDELTA retains full ownership of the logo without GMOs. Its use is free for individuals and professionals. In any case this logo can be rented, sold or subjected to any commercial transaction.
